Plebbit is a serverless, adminless, decentralised and infinitely scalable Social Media platform that is peer-to-peer and open-source.
By using 'Public Key Based Addressing' and a peer-to-peer pubsub network, Plebbit can scale infinitely without compromising on security, performance, or decentralisation.
Centralised control of Social Media threatens our ability to freely share information and opinions, underscoring the need for a platform that is truly resistant to censorship.
A client is an application that enables users to engage with the Plebbit platform. While the content and data posted on the platform remains the same regardless of client, each one offers the user a distinct UI (User Interface).
Whether you prefer the original Reddit interface, or Yotsuba-style imageboards such as 4chan, each client provides a different way for people to engage with the platform.
Plebbit is a completely open-source project, meaning anyone can develop their own client on top of the platform. Read the Whitepaper, explore the Github, and get in contact with the Plebbit team if you have any questions on getting started.
